Drainage Solutions

Standing water, soggy yards, foundation seepage — we diagnose the real cause and fix it permanently. French drains, catch basins, regrading, and more.

What We Fix

Every Water Problem Has a Solution

Most drainage problems are the result of one or two root causes. We identify the cause first, then build the right fix — not just the most expensive one.

01
💧

French Drain Installation

Perforated pipe in a gravel trench redirects subsurface water away from your yard and foundation.

02
🌊

Catch Basins

Surface water collection points that funnel water into underground pipe systems. Great for low spots.

03
📐

Yard Regrading

We reshape your yard's slope so water flows away from your home instead of pooling against it.

04

Foundation Drainage

Perimeter drains and downspout routing to protect your foundation from water damage.

Common Questions

Drainage FAQs

How do I know if I have a drainage problem?

The clearest signs: standing water that sits 24+ hours after rain, soggy or spongy spots in your lawn, erosion channels forming in your yard, water staining or dampness at your foundation, or gutters that overflow even when clean. If you see any of these, call us — most problems are fixable before they become expensive.

What is a French drain and how does it work?

A French drain is a gravel-filled trench with a perforated pipe inside. Water flows into the gravel, enters the pipe, and gets carried away from your property to a safe outlet — a storm drain, dry well, or daylight outlet. They're one of the most reliable drainage solutions for residential yards.

How much does drainage repair cost in NC?

Simple French drain installations start around $1,500–$3,000. More complex systems with catch basins, regrading, and underground piping can run $5,000–$15,000+. It depends on the size of your yard, severity of the problem, and what solution is needed. Free estimate always available.

Will fixing drainage hurt my existing landscaping?

We work to minimize disturbance to your existing landscaping. French drain trenches are narrow and we restore the surface after installation. In some cases, regrading requires more significant work, but we discuss and plan that with you upfront.

Can drainage problems cause foundation damage?

Yes — this is one of the most important reasons to fix drainage early. Water pooling against a foundation leads to hydrostatic pressure, cracks, water infiltration, and eventually structural issues. Fixing drainage is almost always far cheaper than fixing foundation damage.

Is your work pet and environmentally safe?

Completely. We don't use chemicals in our drainage work. All solutions are physical — grading, pipe, gravel, and landscaping. Safe for pets, kids, and the natural water table.
